Rose Grotsky, President

With over 30 years of North American and international experience in communications consulting, training, and usability testing, Rose helps clients connect their communications objectives with their strategic organizational goals. Before founding Learning Communications in 1982, she was a workplace learning and diversity specialist for the Ontario Government. Rose also taught at the Universities of Toronto, Western Ontario, and California (Berkeley).

Rose obtained her B.A. from Vassar College and pursued her M.A. and Ph.D. studies at the University of Rochester and the Université de Paris. She presents at conferences that focus on performance improvement, usability, plain language, workplace education, and training.

Thomas Grignon, Creative Director

For over 20 years Thomas has developed creative design solutions and strategies to support the business requirements of corporate, government, and non-profit clients in the United States and Canada. His stellar technical skills and ability to work across all media and disciplines enable him to design clear communications that help his clients to prosper. Thomas also taught graphic design at the Academy of Art College in San Francisco.

Following his training in architecture at the University of Toronto, Thomas studied Communications and Design at the Ontario College of Art and Design.
